Trapeze was tasked to generate a solution to answer to the question, "How do we educate TASSIMO customer service representatives, as well as retail and online customers about the benefits and operation of the TASSIMO home brewing system?”
Our answer was simple. Create a series of integrated educational videos on a web responsive platform, to be viewed through all potential sales platforms (in-store kiosks, home computers, mobile tablets (CSR tablets or mobile phones).
We questioned how people make their purchase decisions around coffee brewers and found research proved that a lot of people use their smartphones in-store to choose between products.
After analyzing market demands, we conceptualized and created the TASSIMO 101 videos within a microsite using Responsive Web technology.
Responsive Web involves building your sites in a more fluid ‘responsive’ manner so that web pages render appropriately across different devices, it is a trend that is invoking a lot of lively conversation.
"Responsive Web design has started a new era in web site development, where we build once and can run on any device,” says Karen Bennet, the Vice President of Technology at Trapeze.
Responsive Web design facilitated an optimal user experience. Whether you are visiting the site via mobile phone, or at a kiosk in the store, this website adapts to the size of your browser so that you can focus on the content of the videos rather than navigating your way through the site.
Responsive Web technology detects the browser size in which the user is viewing from. Depending on the size of your browser, the site will be presented in a different way to make sure that you have the best visual experience.
