It’s a theatre? It’s a playground? Nope…it’s a store!

When Shaw Communications wanted to change the face of retail, we were up to the challenge. We partnered with our good friends at Breakhouse in Halifax to rethink Shaw’s retail business model to make it more casual, more modern… and a lot cooler.

The initial store launched at Sunridge Mall in Calgary, Alberta with plans for many more in the coming year. And not only is the store exceptionally, and beautifully executed, but this new model pushes the boundaries of the retail experience thanks to the smart integration of multiple screen based technologies throughout. Technologies that allow customers to interact, explore, learn, act, and share all without the assistance of any cumbersome applications.
We worked with cues from Breakhouse and Shaw’s facility design team to create interface, customer flow, experience flow, back end systems, hardware, and other techy stuff that most people wouldn’t be interested in ... but trust us, it’s slick.
