The TASSIMO brewer is one of the smartest brewers on the market. It’s the only one with a brain that reads barcodes! But not everyone knows how the barcode technology works. We wanted to show how much craftsmanship, care and innovation goes into each barcode. We wanted the consumers to discover what’s really behind the TASSIMO barcode.
When we first pitched this idea, it seemed crazy. Sending a small team off to Europe to get to know the TASSIMO brands and innovation team. But it made sense. The only way to get people to continue their love affair with TASSIMO was to romance them, to tell them a story. Stories about quality. Stories about innovation. Stories that show how TASSIMO is looking to provide their customers the best brewing experience on the market.
We started in a small town in Sweden, travelled to the UK and Paris, France. We met people as passionate about coffee as we are. And learned a lot along the way. Did you know the Swedes drink more coffee per capita then nearly anywhere in the world?
We also visited one of the largest coffee innovation centres in the world and met coffee scientists. And we even participated in a daily coffee tasting, which is actually a lot like tasting wine!
These stories help build on the legacy of TASSIMO and set forward the vision we have for the brand in the future. The videos are beautiful and the stories are compelling. We take the TASSIMO consumer on the journey to the perfect cup, and help them realize that their brewer is the smartest one in the bunch.
