Fostering Community Growth with Kraft
Now in its 4th year, Kraft Canada and TSN’s annual event that connects Canadians through sharing stories of community pride, perseverance, and the love of sport. The Kraft Celebration Tour has become one of the most anticipated events of the summer for communities across Canada to get to share their stories across the country. The tour invites Canadians to nominate their communities to win 1 of 10 $25,000 awards from Kraft to improve their community. The winning communities are also featured in a live broadcast of TSN SportsCentre and RDS Sports30.

For the 2012 program, Trapeze had three goals:
i. Provide a simpler and more user-friendly interface for all phases of the program
ii. Increase the number of communities nominated for the program
iii. Further extend community involvement and passion for the program
On April 27th, nominations opened and we saw a flood of great community stories of sports and active living shared from coast to coast. This year the Kraft Celebration tour saw a 44% increase in the number of community nominations over 2011. On June 11th a panel selected the 20 best nominations that would then to participate in the final voting phase.

On July 19th voting began to select the 10 winning communities. This year the Kraft Celebration Tour had 572 communities nominated, exceeding every year’s nominations to date. Over 4 million votes were received to help choose the winning communities. The site was built using Trapeze’s Parlour CMS platform.
