Overview
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, software testing professional who will work with developers, designers, usability specialists and project managers to resolve QA issues on Trapeze-developed sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform quality assurance testing on sites developed by Trapeze
Test case creation, executing and maintenance
Documentation of defects and function gaps
Interfacing with developers, designers, usability and project managers to resolve issues
REQUIREMENTS
Software Testing professional with SDLC experience in standard QA methodologies.
Good understanding of web application and applicable testing techniques
We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is able to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working closely with software developers for clarification and issue resolution
Experience working in agile teams is an asset
Ability to break down requirements documentation into basic components for effective testing.
Identify, log, report and track bugs found in the release.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and follow up.
Self-motivated, strong initiative, flexible and superior time management skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) required.
Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment, under the pressure of strict time constraints and with constantly changing priorities.
Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Business with an IT focus preferred
Certified Software Tester (CSTE) accreditation desired

Willing to work occasional off hours when necessary

Can distil business requirements into technical solutions while retaining a sense of the "big picture"
