As a Digital Account Planner you will assume a strong leadership role in developing overall digital marketing strategies for our clients and bring deep strategic capabilities to each of our digital marketing campaigns.
You will report to Trapeze’s VP of Strategy and closely support our account management teams. You will be supported by Trapeze’s team of business analysts/researchers.
i) Account Level – Strategic Planning At the account level you will develop digital strategy roadmaps (strategic plans) which help our clients develop multi-year digital marketing strategies designed to help maximize the impact of digital on their business. You will also work with clients on a ongoing basis to support their strategic planning process, ensuring the right digital investments are included in their annual budgets. You will also lead strategic engagements on helping clients develop strategies in specific areas of digital strategy such as social media, search engine marketing and eCRM.
ii) Campaign Level Planning You will also support the development of specific campaigns by leading research efforts and supervising business analysts to bring strong foundational insights into the ideation process, and ensure campaign ideas are developed within a strong strategic framework. You will be a key contributor to the development of campaign ideas, and work closely with the creative and account teams on assembling the client presentation.
Selectively, the above capabilities will also be used to support Trapeze’s new business development efforts.
A critical aspect of the role is effective and persuasive communication of our ideas in both written and presentation form to ensure all stakeholders understand and buy into the vision.
Minimum 4-5 years experience in an account planning role at a major advertising agency, consulting firm or equivalent client side experience.
Deep understanding of online media, social media, search engine marketing and eCRM.
