Overview

The role of Account Supervisor will have 2 core responsibilities - building client relationships on key accounts and leading the strategic planning of those key accounts. The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, substantial knowledge of internet research, statistics and trends, as well as a strong interest in online business strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building strong client relationships with a select group of Trapeze’s key accounts. Specifically these responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with our client’s marketing team, becoming a trusted and respected advisor

  • Developing a deep understanding of client business requirements and leveraging this insight to create insightful internal project briefs.

  • Networking inside the client organization to ensure Trapeze is constantly aware of our client’s business challenges and needs, and understand with clarity where we can help.

  • Also you should be ensuring that the right people inside the client organization are aware of Trapeze full set of capabilities.

  • Presenting and selling Trapeze solutions

  • Managing weekly status updates across multiple initiatives with the client

  • Internally developing forward looking account plans

  • Regularly reviewing overall program performance with our client (via web analytics)

  • Leading the strategic planning and account planning efforts on your Key accounts

  • Working directly with Trapeze’s VP of Strategy to convert client-articulated needs into methodologically and strategically sound strategic plans

  • Actively leverage data analytics to provide actionable insights into future strategy

  • Working independently and in conjunction with Trapeze’s team of strategy analysts to find insightful market research including the collection and analysis of the client’s target audience, competition

  • Leading the creation of client presentations – be assembling input from the various Trapeze experts into a clearly articulated, web articulated story to the client.

  • Be a core team member in Trapeze’s Strategy Practice Group meeting – consistently investing in evolving the company’s strategy capability

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in commerce/ecommerce related program), with 3 to 5 years relevant industry experience.

  • Must have minimum 4 years experience of account supervisory experience, ideally at a major advertising agency (or equivalent client side experience).

  • Experience in retail, media and entertainment consumer electronics is preferred

  • Willingness to travel to various locations across Southern Ontario

  • Working knowledge of social media and social media marketing tactics

  • Strong interest and demonstrated experience in online business strategy.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong working knowledge of Internet research and compiling and analyzing data, statistics and trends from web sites and online marketing campaigns.

  • Business analysis and data quality management skills. Ability to use and comprehend analytic tools.

OPTIONAL, BUT NICE TO HAVE...

  • Good organizational and "multi-tasking" skills. Knows how to manage own time and tasks effectively.

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills.

  • Hands-on experience with SEO and Paid Search is a plus

  • Hands-on experience with Web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends, Omniture etc.),

  • Internet research tools (ie. comScore, eMarketer), SEM tools (ie. AdWords, YSM etc.)

  • Experience working on interactive marketing campaigns with strong knowledge of online marketing tactics (SEM, SMM, Paid Media Advertising, RSS, email marketing and eCRM etc.)

  • A good team leader, with effective management skills. A key attribute is being able to effectively solicit input from other skilled team members before deciding upon best approach.
