Trapeze has launched the High School Musical 3 Party Pass, which débuts on the movie’s official website at www.disney.go.com/disneypictures/highschoolmusical3 or directly at www.hsm3partypass.com.
Party Pass lets users invite friends to go see HSM 3 at a planned date, time and selected theatre. The application is built on top of the current First in Line ONLINE! Ticket Widget, developed by Trapeze, and integrated into all Disney movie sites since 2004. It allows visitors to directly purchase movie tickets online, without having to exit the film site.
Visitors to the HSM 3 site are prompted by a “Get Tickets” widget, and are directed to the Party Pass page, where the host can then look up theatre times and locations, send email invites to friends, manage payment of tickets, and receive RSVPs. For such hotly anticipated releases, Party Pass makes it easy to create an event, assemble a group, and administer the details.
Party Pass is Trapeze’s latest evolution of the ticket purchase application, which, since its inception, has been enhanced with geo-targeting capabilities and a group sales option for participating theaters. Trapeze has filed a co-patent with Disney for the First in Line ONLINE! platform.
