As Canada's primary 24 hour news source, CBC Newsworld engaged Trapeze to strategically position the show as the leader in its format. The site we designed and executed functioned as a sales tool for call centre reps. On-air personality George Stroumboulopoulos was recruited to deliver a script that emphasized the value of CBC Newsworld to cable subscribers, and then we used bango! (Trapeze's proprietary promotions and tracking engine) to manage sweepstakes and track usage.
