

First in Line ONLINE! has been used on virtually all of Disney's movies since late 2004. The core application is regularly upgraded and enhanced, and is currently being co-patented by Trapeze and Disney.
The reason for being of any movie site is to get people to go see the film. Providing a way for consumers to act on a purchase is a natural extension for any experiential website. The prospective audience should be able to easily find out the where and whens of screenings, and then buy tickets.
Before the First in Line ONLINE! ticket widget, visitors were steered to a succession of external sites, pulling them away from the initial site, and consequently distancing them from the film brand and film experience. With the ticket widget, Trapeze amasses data from multiple information sources and integrates with all major ticketing providers, like Fandango and Moviefone. The application is re-skinnable to the brand of individual films.
